Which class suits you?

All of the yoga classes involve some pilates movements suitable to the class level to ensure body awareness and control are established before moving into more traditional yoga poses. If you are unsure what class will best suit you, please contact me to discuss!

Foundations

A beginner-friendly class where the fundamental yoga and pilates movements are broken down into accessible, buildable forms. Attention will be given to joint mobility and spinal health, ensuring that muscles are strengthened in a balanced way to encourage correct posture. Ideal for anyone just starting out in yoga/pilates or who requires a slower-paced class where technique can be perfected.

Intermediate

A class for students who have some yoga or pilates experience. The basics of the foundations class are built upon to create more elaborate flows and deepen into poses. Strength is a core theme in this class, enabling access to deeper poses safely and with integrity. We work towards stronger balance and more advanced yoga movements such as arm balances and inversions.

Mixed Level

A well-rounded class that contains options suitable for all levels. However, if you are a beginner and are unfamiliar with sun salutations or have very limited movement, you may find a Foundations class more beneficial.

Restorative

A class suitable for anyone who needs gentle strengthening and releasing exercises with the aim of resting and reseting the body. If you find your muscles are chronically tight and painful or are dealing with stress and anxiety, this class is for you. Props are used to facilitate gentle strengthening with an ultimate full body release through a series of gentle postures held for longer periods of time.
