Hi, I’m Casey! I have been teaching Hatha yoga since 2016 after discovering how incredible yoga is at getting “the edge” in my performance as an international dressage rider. As dressage requires the ultimate balance between power and suppleness to excel, I understand the importance of feeling strong and empowered whilst experiencing calm and ease within the body. This balance of energy forms the ethos of my classes, where I use traditional yoga alignment incorporated into modern sequences designed to be beneficial for regular people trying to feel better in their bodies. My system has been developed over years of practice and experience in other forms of movement such as pilates, barre and strength training. I have found this fusion-inspired approach to be the most beneficial for a yoga student in the modern western world.

With extensive experience as a coach, I am skilled in knowing how to safely challenge my students to dig a little deeper so that they believe in their own abilities. I use resistance bands and props to assist in building strength and create a deeper sense of opening in the body, and ensure everyone’s individual needs are met.

Since retiring from a professional dressage riding career, I have been undergoing my pilates, personal training and sports massage qualifications and I am so excited to soon be able to offer 1-1 personal training, fitness classes, pilates, yoga and sports massage in my own purpose-built home studio in Braydon. Classes are currently being held at the Wellbeing at the Barn studio in Cricklade, and Crudwell, Charlton, Minety, Brinkworth and Bushton village halls.
